Collective Investment Scheme disclosure

Odyssey Capital Managers (Pty) Ltd is the appointed investment / fund manager of two collective investment schemes (CIS):

  • The Odyssey Global fund, an Irish domiciled CIS, and;
  • The Odyssey BCI Worldwide Flexible Fund (‘Odyssey BCI WWFF’), a South African domiciled CIS

Collective Investment Schemes in Securities (“CIS”) are generally medium to long term investments. Past performance is not necessarily a guide to future performance, and the value of your investment may go down as well as up. Changes in exchange rates may have an adverse effect on the value, price or income of your investment. CIS are traded at ruling prices and can engage in borrowing and scrip lending. Forward pricing is used. CIS are calculated on a net asset value basis, which is the total market value of all assets in the fund including any income accruals and less any deductible expenses such as audit fees, brokerage and service fees. Actual investment performance of the fund and the investor may differ based on the initial fees applicable, the actual investment date, and the date of reinvestment of income as well as dividend withholding tax, if applicable.

Should different classes apply, these are subject to different fees and charges. A schedule of fees and charges and maximum commissions is available on request. The performance of the fund depends on the underlying assets and variable market factors. The Alternative Investment Fund Manager (AIFM), in the case of the Odyssey Global Fund, and the Manager, in the case of the Odyssey BCI WWFF, does not provide any guarantee either with respect to the capital or the return of the fund. Commission and incentives may be paid and are for the account of the investment / fund manager.
